Dr. Amelia Talbot

Dr. Talbot joined the staff at Bellevue Animal Clinic in June of 2024 as an Associate Veterinarian. She was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and that is where she attended university as well. Dr. Talbot earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Louisiana State University in 2020. She achieved her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2024.

Dr. Talbot’s special interest in veterinary medicine is in surgery and emergency medicine. She was the caretaker for Mike the Tiger from 2022 to 2024. Tigers have a great memory and Mike VII still recognizes Dr. Talbot’s face and her car when she goes to visit.

Dr. Talbot has an 11 month old mixed breed rescue dog named Goose. Goose was kindly taken in from the streets by a client, and Dr. Talbot adopted him. In her spare time, Dr. Talbot spends time with family, friends, and her dog. She enjoys reading, being outside, and running.
